L'APART À MOI

A Home for Life

L'appart à moi is now a reality !

The new building houses 9 tenants each living in their own studio apartment. They share a common area for meals and activities.

L'appart à moi's objective is to fight against poverty and vulnerability of young adults with Down Syndrome or displaying other forms of intellectual disability.

We wish to offer our young adults a smooth and harmonious transition towards independant living.

L'appart à moi is searching for funds to help ensure the project's sustainability.

Services are needed to ensure security and coaching of the tenants.  The staff includes a coordinator, a live in resident, a teaching cook and weekend staff.

Benoit Robert retired member of the Longueuil Agglomeration Police Department and member of IPA Montérégie, his wife Louise and their daughter Cloé are part of this movement and we encourage them.
